Saint Spyridon is Corfu's beloved patron. His relics rest in a silver sarcophagus inside this 16th-century church whose bell tower rises above Campiello's lanes.
Corfu cruise ships dock at the New Port (Neo Limani), about 2 km west of Corfu Old Town. Taxis to the Liston take 5–10 minutes; local buses run every 15–20 minutes in season. Build a 60–90 minute buffer before all-aboard — summer traffic on the coastal road back to the port can slow returns from Paleokastritsa or Achilleion.
The church is a 5-minute walk from the Liston. Modest dress is required — cover shoulders and knees. Photography inside is restricted during services; visit between morning masses for a quieter experience.
Four times a year the relics process through the Old Town — if your call coincides, expect festive crowds and road closures near Spianada. Otherwise allow 20–30 minutes for a respectful visit.
